The golden rule of drafting, only add a view if it adds clarity.
If the orthographic views are enough to clearly and easily visualize the part/assembly, then no need for an iso view. If there are some complex pockets or bosses, then having an iso view helps users interpret the orthographic views.
By default our drawing templates place an isometric 1:1 scale view just to give an appreciation of the actual size. Most of our parts are quite small and drawn at 5:1 or 10:1 plus everything is metric and many suppliers don't seem to be able to grasp the size. Of course, if the ISO view is not appropriate or in the way it can be deleted.
