Odd thing happening--any options in SolidWorks (or Windows 7) to prevent start-up of SolidWorks from simultaneously starting an external hard drive? This didn't happen previously, but I've recently updated my system and reinstalled Windows 7.

Thanks!

Windows didn't restart my external drive upon signing back in this time, but SW 2014 did. I guess I don't have this problem solved yet.

Thanks, Chris! "My Computer" was selected under the File Explorer options. I deselected that and will try it out after the back-up drive spins down again. Backup/Recover options were set appropriately.

Nope, still have the problem. Lame. I wonder why starting SolidWorks is spinning up an external drive--and waiting until that drive is accessible before SolidWorks start-up?
