Hi, I believe that I have a fairly uncommon situation that I would like some advice on. I can provide more context if required, but the general question I have is as follows. Are there any industry solutions for handling large quantities of blowdown water in a relatively short timescale? Looking at max 5k-8k gal per blowdown per accumulator, across a bank of up to five accumulators. The largest blowdowns would be during accumulator warm up and initial charge. Any advice or resources that might prove helpful would be greatly appreciated.
These accumulators were relocated and used to blow down into a retention pond through 4in lines roughly 30ft in length. Unfortunately at the new location, there is no access to the pond nor is it environmentally acceptable as far as I'm aware.
Hopefully someone has some insight, thanks!
