Does anyone have an idea about activities of Zikesch?
Are they a manufacturer or engineering firm?

There are many companies like A-T Armaturen, Bomafa, Schroeder, etc who seems to be manufacturers, but are they for real?

I know companies like CCI, Fisher, are active for such applications but I am trying to have some more vendors for our shortlists.

Any experiences or comments will be apprreciated.

There are many specialty control valve suppliers.

I would start with the operating company approved manufacturers list.

Yalkamer, i have not heard of zikesch, Sorry!

Schroeder i have heard of, they however specialise in valves for pump recirculation and are automatic.

For Steam valves, i would go with a company with a proven track record in the field and depending on the type of valve you require (Control, could be Ball, Butterfly, Globe etc) go with a company that sell those types of valves.

Since you havent told us this, i would suggest you send to a company that make all of them.

Try sending the enquiry to Weir Valves and Controls, they make lots of types of valves and will offer a valve suitable for the application.

Cheers

Matt

I'd check out Leslie control valves too. They do a real good job on steam. I don't remember who owns them these days. It was Watts.

Are you looking for steam pressure control, temperature control or both? If pressure, from what P&T down to what P. If steam temperature, from what P&T down to what T. These answer will make your vendor list alot shorter.
