steam flow formula

Hi

one DP flow transmitter is measuring steam flow. Operating temperature is changed/increased from original Temp (in datasheet). Should we do the recalculation and configure the transmitter ? Is temperature a factor in steam flow calculation ?

No need to reconfigure the FT. Compensate for the reduced steam density by manual means to get the corrected steam mass flow or you can do this compensation online in the DCS if you have a TT nearby the FT - see flow measurement handbooks for temperature correction procedure.
