Steel Bar Grating - Max Pipe Penetration

New engineer and I am doing a simple framing plan for an access platform. I have several pipe penetrations and am wondering if there is a maximum penetration size for the grating before I should frame around the pipe. I have tried looking up this information in grating catalogs and haven;t had any luck. Any help would be appreciated!

Most of the major grating guys have all kinds of tables. Keep looking.
