Steel Connection Design- California

Quick question for the California Structural Engineers. Do jurisdictions in California require the SEOR to design the Steel connections or can it also be delegated to the fabricators connection engineer as mentioned in AISC?

Also, do you all (the SEOR's) in California typically design your steel connections or do you delegate?

Typically CA engineers provide the design for all connections, the only time I have seen delegated design is from engineer back East working on projects in CA. Boy those are fun trying to figure out the loading. DSA/OSHPD require connections that resist seismic force to be shown on the design drawings.
