I read in a code but do not remember where but when two or more black steel pipes are installed at the same location, the gas pipe is required to be identified with yellow stripping or painted yellow.
Does anyone know where this may have come from? I am in Texas, and I have looked in the 2021 IFGC and the NFPA Gas Code but did not see this verbiage. I know I read this, and it does make sense if you have sprinkler pipe and gas pipe installed next to each other, the gas would require to be labeled.
