hello to all,

im in need of dimensions of steel transmission towers for 500KV, 230KV and 115KV. kindly point me to an existing thread (if available) or any site.

You can find several references that have this information under the Power Engineer FAQs "What are good references for power engineers" in Eng-Tips. I would start with the Network Protection and Automation Guide ( Figure 5.17.
 
Check on the EPRI Transmission line reference books.

There are several details for latice, tubular and even wood pole design.

To find updated information on the book print status, call EPRI Customer Assistance Center at 800-313-3774. Beware that for not EPRI members the price of some books could cost several US thousand of dollars.
 
I found a neat link by Areva, but it takes a bit to find it.

Unfortunately just putting in the link does not seem to work quite right.
