Hello Everyone,

Steadily getting better at using this software, but I have ran into an issue that a google or youtube search doesnt seem to solve. Currently, my model has 3 steps where the first step is a gravity load, then the subsequent steps are forces applied to the structure. However, I need to restrain a component of the model so it has zero y displacement (as this would be the case in real life) after the gravity load is applied. I cannot figure out how to make this component BC "free" for step 1, then y=0 for steps 2 and 3.

So my question is: is there a way to make the displacement go from "free" to "some value" for each step?

Thanks!

Hello,
I'm not sure if I understood correctly but, you can activate or deactivate(this way it's free) a displacement in any step by right clicking on your displacement tabular definition on the step you wish so.
