When placing points by eye on a plane, or similarly placing points on a curve, the default step size is one inch. This makes it impossible to place points with any precision. It is possible, to right click over the step size, and make a new smaller step size, but it only is effective for that one single point. If you are placing a bunch of points, it is impossibly laborious.
There must be a way of changing the step size in the tools/options, but so far I haven't found it. Any suggestions?
