Hi everyone!
I have a problem to evaluate the stiffness matrix of a steel frame with all hinged connections. How does the stiffness change with respect to the case of rigid elements?

Thanks in advance

Traditionally, trusses have been designed with all nodes hinged even though chords are usually continuous. Rigid frames normally rely on continuity to provide stiffness, although knee braces may be used. Hinged nodes tend to make a structure less stiff.

I solved the problem. thx

I don't understand your question in the first place, and curious on how you solve it - does a series of chain links have structural rigidity/stability?

I think the structures below are doable. Can you show us your model?
