Hi,
I'm using NX7 and when I use Stop before collision, the part stop before collision.
Can I set that the collision is equal to zero ?

Thanks,
Alessandro

Please prove a little more information - are you in some type of animation? Or CAM?
If CAM, is this in generation? Gouge checking? Verify? Simulate?

Hi,
I'm in assembly and I'm using the 'Move' command.

To start with there is no such thing as a true continuous motion. Everything is done in an incremental fashion. So what happens is that when collision detection is ON as an object is moving, for each increment a collision test is performed and if the objects are in state a collision, the system reverts to the previous position in which there was NO interference. Collision 'detection' is also collision 'prevention', so it errs on the side of being conservative. Therefore, unless you are moving very slowly, there will always be a bit of space between the objects when they are stopped as the result of a collision being detected.

If you want the 2 components just touching you can do a measurement between the parts (body to body) and then move the part(s) by the reported distance.
