Is it possible to determine a value for Young's modulus from a material's storage modulus?

I believe the storage modulus is determined from a dynamic test. I have a static application I wish to consider but only have storage modulus info for the material.

To a first order approximation you can simply take the storage modulus at a low frequency as the Young's modulus.

Information about advanced FEM of polymers.

Bulk Modulus (E*) is also a good approximation, but requires you to know the Loss Modulus (E") in addition to the Storage Modulus (E').

Since E* = E' + iE",

E* can be calculated by:

E* = SQRT( (E')^2 + (E")^2 )
