Storage Tank by PV Elite 1

Hi guys,

I`m designing a flat head storage by atmospheric pressure using PV Elite software and report the design data. However, i`ve been asked to include the foundation loading table, force and moment in all direction Fx, Fy Fz, Mx, My and Mz. I`ve been informed that PV Elite does not give the moment and force directly, and uses the worst load, Q. How should i solve this? Thanks in advanced

See ASCE 7, API-650, or other relevant standards.

Hahaha yeah, that what i thought too. Just wondering if there is any way to bring out the values together during simulation that i missed. Thank you

Dear all
Can we design a flat head cylindrical tank through Pv-Elite?
Because for atmospheric tank design pressure will be one bara while in Pv-Elite min pressure to be entered is 1 Barg.

Hi rajeev383,

1 barg is equal to 1 atm. Simply put 1 barg as the external pressure.
