Storing and exporting different positions (arrangements?)

For a client I am developing a Virtual Reality addition to NX, where users can move parts around in immersive VR. Model data will be exported in JT format. The position/orientation data of those parts needs to be known to snap to (a door for instance can be open or closed, a screw can be tight or loose). NX can use Arrangements to store these type of locations, but I have not found a way to export this data. Is that possible at all??

Secondly, if arrangements are not exportable, what would you propose to use for designating these positions and exporting them to XML/JT/spreadsheet/....? Point helper objects? I just need coordinates/orientations in local part coordinates. I am just getting into NX, so any help is appreciated.
