stormwater - one word, or two?

Okay ladies and gentleman,

I'm engaged in deep argument here...

Is stormwater one word (stormwater) or two words (storm water)?

adding it to the MS-Word dictionary does not prevent you from using it both ways, perhaps even in the same sentence... Just because civil engineers recognize it as a compound word does not mean the rest of the world will agree. Unfortunately, I don't see Websters dictionary changing any time soon.
 
I usually use it as two words, e.g. SWPPP: Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.
