Strengths of Materials Textbook

Is there a popular strengths of materials (mechanics of materials) book out there? Mostly I need some good refreshers on principal stresses, mohrs circle, ect..

My undergrad book SUCKED and I need to brush up..

I have a Hibbeler and Timoshenko. Both are good.

Gere...Timoshenko's understudy, best one out there.
"Mechanics of Materials" Fifth edition.

Even Mechanics of Materials by Beer is also good.

My college materials textbook sucked so much it actually created a void in my bookcase.

I also use Timoshenko and Gere.

If you can, you might try to get ahold of Eshbach's "Handbook of Engineering Fundamentals". I have one from 1936 and it is a great summary, to include Mechanics of Materials.

"Introduction to Materials Science for Engineers" by James F. Shackelford is a great book to use a refresher.
