Dear all,
Does anyone use infinite elements to represent a far-field domain in a structural-acoustic coupling?
Any suggestion regarding the minimum thickness required for infinite elements such as CIN3D8?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

From the documentation chapter Elements --> Continuum Elements --> Infinite Elements --> Infinite Elements:

For acoustic infinite elements you specify the thickness and the reference point. The thickness is ignored in three-dimensional and axisymmetric elements.

Thanks for your feedback. I've already checked the Abaqus documentation...
I'm wondering how to define a reference point. I think that's why I'm getting errors when I check my model.
