Hi everyone!
I'm performing a structural analysis in ANSYS Workbench 13.0 to better predict stresses and deformations in vacuum chambers.
Basically, imagine a circular tube welded to flanges in both ends.
I'm using a fixed support as the constraint in both ends and a pressure of 1bar applied at the outer surface of the chamber. However, I'm not sure with the fixed support is the better option in this case.
I would really appreciate if you could give me you point of view about this model.
Thanks a lot!!
