Structural checks for box culvert concrete design to Eurocodes?

Hi there,

Take a small bridge made up of regular precast concrete box culvert units plus irregular end units with wing walls, apron, etc.
Unfortunately, no specific details were supplied what level of detail was required - I am treating it as an overall rough check of the key elements and sections to confirm that the proposed section sizes would work.

I was thinking what else to check for in addition to traffic loading effects for moments on midspan and supports, shear?

What would be the best way to model the slab/wall connection of the precast box elements? Would a simply supported model would be too conservative - and fixed at both ends inappropriate?

Are there are guides and recommendations on culvert designs and also associated wing walls, especially to Eurocodes (UK national annex)?

Would appreciate your tips and ideas...
