Structural Frame Analysis

Hi everyone,

Attached is photo of a structural frame. Can anyone help to resolve R1, R2, R3 and R4 in terms of "P" and "L"?

From my own understanding:

1. P = R3 + R4
2. Since the frame should stay static, the tilting force from P would result in R1 to be a downward force.

I did my own calculations but got confused, still had some doubts. Hope someone can help on this, thanks!

In the absense of DL and LL forces, R1 should be downward, or have a magnitude of P x L2 / L1 with a minus sign. You can use a +ve or -ve sign to change the direction, too... [pipe]
