Structure Health Monitoring System (SHM) - USA

Hey guys, I hope you are all doing well!
For the past few days, I have been doing some research on the different kinds of SHMs used in structures. So far, I found multiple methods with their various pros and cons. However, I have noticed that almost any paper mentions or cites the ASCE or any code within its references.
Do you guys know about a section within the codes discussing the SHM systems?
The idea is to use them in structures below 5 stories high.

In Europe, I don't think SHM techniques are codified. I expect the same for other parts of the world, as this is something very special. I have some experience with SHM through computer vision and ambient vibrations, but this is not something I do often.
