Hi guys,

I have a question and I need a tip.

If I would want to buy a some supplier a "stub end" upon 24 inch, What standard should I specify him for to define the dimensions? because ASME B16.9 and MSS SP-43 only go to 24 inch.
In the case that doesn't exist standard for this range, wich is the most common strategy to specify the dimensions of "SE" upper than 24 inch or what is done in theses cases?

Cheers

There doesn't seem to be one.

It looks like some suppliers offer larger ones, but are rather wary about the rating.

The only one I could find was this one and the rating is class 125 above 24".
So I thik you really need to be on the phone to a decent flange forging company and see what they say, but it sounds like a "special" to me.

Would probably need to be ASME VIII designed.

This comment is insightful...
So when you find a decent supplier be sure to come back and tell us....

Thanks LittleInch.... I think similar to your tips...
In Fluor company (Chile), I have a good friend in piping discipline and he asked to others partners; they say him that in theses cases, Fluor Chile puts purchases orders to Alaskan Cooper. They recommended this supplier..
Please see the pdf file for dimensions upon 24 inch.

Thanks again
