My company has experienced some ASTM A193 B7 stud bolt failure due to a cadmium coating of stud material at higher temperatures. The higher temperature caused the coating to melt and proprogate into grain structure, thus causing failure due to the LME (liquid metal embrittlement).
Does anyone know of any any anti-sieze compounds causing LME?
