stud welding and engraving. How to make your subcontractors happy?

I am currently creating a sheetmetal part which will be lasercut, then bended. The part will be made by a subcontractor

On the part I'd like there to be a text engraving (which is possible with the machines they have).

I'd prefer the text to be a single line (as in, an 0 is a single circle, not a circle IN a circle) as the font will be rather small. How should I add my text so that they can readily use it when they import a dxf/dwg?

Second question: I'd like 4 studs to be welded onto the sheetmetal part. How should this be drawn/created?

After the sheetmetal part has been modeled, leave NX Sheet Metal and go back to Modeling. Now you can add the text using...

Insert -> Curve -> Text...

...and then using a font such as 'RomanS', 'Segoe UI Light' or 'Microsoft Yi Baiti' one of the other very thin TrueType fonts, create your note on the face of the model.

As for the welding studs, you can just create a couple of extruded cylinders since Welding Studs are resistance welded there is very little material left around the base representing a weld bead so could just leave it like what I've done the example provided below.
