Sub-Assembly Arrangements in a Parent Assembly

I am using NX7.5 and Teamcenter 8. In my parent assembly I have a Linear Guide (which is a sub-assembly) and another sub-assembly (let's call it Sub-Assembly2) that is mounted to the block on the Linear Guide using touch constraints. I want to show my parent assembly in different configurations as the Linear Guide is moved into different positions.

In the Linear Guide sub-assembly I have created 5 different arrangements. When I go back to the parent assembly, I right-click on the Linear Guide in the Assembly Navigator and select a different arrangement. The Linear Guide moves into the correct position relative to that arrangement, but Sub-Assembly2 does not move, and the assembly constraints turn red.

Can somebody please tell me how I get Sub-Assembly2 to stay constrained to the Linear Guide as I switch between arrangements?

Ok, I don't know what happened, but it's working now! All I did was start working on a completely unrelated assembly (without closing down my original assembly), and then later when I went back into the original assembly to demonstrate the problem to a colleague here in the office, everything worked!

I used to work with an IT guy that loved to tell this story:

A CAD user was having a strange problem and called IT guy over to take a look; of course, it worked perfectly. Next day - same situation, problem only showed up when IT guy wasn't around. This went on for a week or so and finally, IT guy tapes a wallet sized picture of himself to the inside of the computer case so he could always 'keep an eye' on the troublesome computer. No problems reported after the picture was installed...
