Subsea Tie-back analysis

Hello,

I am conducting a quick analysis on a subsea tieback structure to check its movement under compressive loading using Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis(RSA). I have currently applied the loading on the tieback as a LIVE LOAD - CATEGORY A (Eurocode Imposed loads - EN1991-1-1). Please is this good enough to get a reasonable solution?

I know RSA is not the preferred choice for this type of analysis but I am trying to make do with what I have. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That's a rare beast, and this sub-forum is only for AutoCAD, the drafting program.

(click on the community link and follow the selections to see discussions related to RSA (if they even exist).

If that doesn't work, contact the reseller that provided your company with the software package - if there is any value to the license you paid for it, there will be support.
