SUBSTEPS AND EQUILIBRIUM ITERATIONS 1

Hi,

I have some problems with substeps and equilibrium iterations to solve a no-linear and static load case.

I tried with 75 substeps and 50 equilibrium iterations and Ansys cannot calculate, it says “DOF exceeded”. But if try to solve the same model with the default values of SUBST and EQIT (without inputting them), the model is solved without problems in 2 substeps and 29 iterations.

Anyone knows why it occurs?

Only 2 substeps is strange! My suggestion is using the:
solcontorl,on,on
