Myself is currently working on a project to re-engineer a damaged stem nut for a non-rising stem gate valve. The thread on this valve is a nonstandard square thread with a diameter of 1.75 inches and a pitch of 3 threads per inch. I have not been able to locate any specific standards that might apply to this thread profile. I would be grateful for any guidance or suggestions from industry experts.
