Suitable ASPEN PLUS Property Model For handling Diatomic Sulfur

Dear All,

I am trying to run parallel reaction system using Rstoic in ASPEN Plus software, I am facing difficulty in estimating the thermodynamic properties for the component called S2--> di-atomic sulfur which is produced as part H2S decomposition : H2S--> H2+ 0.5 S2
I tried all EOS including SRK and Peng Robinson, the model was not able to detect S2. From your experience, what would be the suitable property method for such component?

From Wiki, it appears S2 is the predominant species in the gas phase at flame temp >700degC. Write to local rep for Aspen and ask them if this is the species implicit in the props they have used for S in the gas phase - they usually reply within a few days.

Thanks georgeverghese, actually the error is a failure in estimating property parameters including Pc, Wc & TC. I will contact ASPEN and inform about the issue.
