Hi members,
I am working on one debottleneck existing SCOT unit revamp project.
For the low-pressure supply from upstream, we need one new tail gas blower to push the gas through the downstream system.
The problem is, there are 505 kg/hr (8500 wtppm) H2S and 480 kg/hr (8000 wt ppm) SO2, with 3400kg/hr H2O in the gas stream at 132ºC w/ 135 kPa-a condition, I consider how to deal with the corrosion problem for the new blower and what kind material should used for the case / impeller and all the associated parts.
I do not have any experience about this kind design.
Is there some standard can help?
Thanks,
