Superceeded bearing Part Numbers 1

Does anyone know of a web site where you can enter a Bearing Part Number, e.g SKF P/N and it will give you the updated P/N or where I can get a list of old and new SKF P/Ns

Doesn't SKF do this? It's been a while, but most bearing companies seemed to have large cross references to their competitor numbers, the better to switch you to their product. I would expect SKF to want to keep the customers they have, so they should at least index their own.

Do you have a part in mind or is this just a what-if question?

Edit to add: Most bearing brokers/resellers will have that same sort of information, assuming it's available. I would not expect custom bearings to be listed.

I have a engineering stores download from a auto car maker, I have created a list of SKF brgs P/Ns as my master list in MS Access, but many of the car maker P/Ns are not matching. I know from a previous reply from SKF support that 2RS are now 2RS1. I have googled a number of P/Ns but am not getting matches. Also have gone on SKF product finder site and get this message after keying a few P/Ns "It seems you are looking for a specific variant. The information on the Prefix and Suffix page may be helpful. Or, you can Contact us directly", I was looking for 1220 K/C3 and 1213 EKTN9/C3.
They are not very responsive when you fill in an online form

Do they have a number for an Applications Engineering department? That's what we have at my company and our Apps guys get questions like that from customers pretty frequently. I'd bet that's a pretty simple question to get answered if you can get in touch with a live human.

1220K came right up on the SKF site. Self aligning ball bearings, and a popular number. C3 usually indicates a little extra internal clearance. That //may// make it a special.

1213 EKTN9/C3. Self aligning ball with taper bore. And extra clearance.

1220 K/C3
1220 is the basic designation which defines a self aligning ball bearing of dimensions 100 x 180 x 34 mm
K means a tapered bore, 1:12 on the diameter. This bearing can be mounted on an adapter sleeve or a tapered shaft.
C3 means radial internal clearance class greater than normal.

1213 EKTN9/C3
1213 is the basic designation which defines a self aligning ball bearing of dimensions 65 x 120 x 23 mm
E means Optimized internal design for increased load carrying capacity
K means a tapered bore, 1:12 on the diameter. This bearing can be mounted on an adapter sleeve or a tapered shaft
TN9 means Glass fibre reinforced PA66 cage, ball centered
C3 means radial internal clearance class greater than normal.
