Hello e,

Let me correct if my interpritation is wrong for AsMe sec 8 Div 1, appendix 44-5 (g)

I understood that" code says that any support pad like support for leg, Even They attached on dish , pad thk shall not exceed the thk of shell." Means all pads regardless to location shall not be more than shell thk.
If shell thk 6 mm, head thk 8 mm, what shall be support pad thk on head.. shall not exceed 6mm or 8 mm?

I think in this context "shell" is a general term and applies to any component with an attached pad.

Regards,

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

Thanks,

So i can say pad thk on head would not exceed thk of head..... not shell...
