Can anyone please advise how I should model a support offset from an elbow in the horizontal position on Caesar?

i.e. the elbow has a welded trunnion to which the supports are fixed. Is it acceptable to use C-Nodes?

Appreciate all your expertise!

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to add sketches to these threads. Its far easier to explain the problem????

Unless I have misinterpreted your question, the answer to your question can be found in the Caesar II Application Guide - Chapter 3 - Restraints.
Vertical dummy legs on bends and horizontal dummy legs on bends.

Be sure to use the correct stress intensification factors for this type of junction. An approximation of the Bend / Trunnion SIFs can be calculated by using the analysis > Sifs@bends option from the Caesar II main menue. More specific data can be calculated using FEA software.
