Suppress drafting object not cooperating with hole callouts?

I am trying to make a hole callout suppress and unsuppress along with the hole it is referencing. I am using "Suppress Drafting Object" with regular dim's and notes and it works fine. I am having fits with a c'bored hole callout created with "feature parameters". If I select all the associated members of the callout I get a warning that says:

"Some objects belong to another controlling expression or feature parameter. Do you want to replace them?"

If I select "yes" the callout immediatly goes dashed.
If I select "no", then suppress the callout and hole (both being controlled by the same suppression expression), everything suppresses except the "THRU" member of the callout and it becomes dashed.

What am I doing wrong?

You've already noticed that the Feature Callout is really a composite of several pieces of annotation. You may have to explicitly pick them and assign the suppression link individually.

I have tried picking only a portion of the callout (omitting the c'bore dia. or thru dia. or c'bore depth). That works fine, but it does not suppress the complete callout. When you say individually, do you mean a seperate expression for each member or just picking them individually? Picking them indivually doen't work either. Also, I have tried picking all but the "Thru" member and just adding "Thru" as appended text, but that fails also. I also had the same problem with a simple thru hole. I have not tried a threaded hole yet.

Well the good news, the mechanism for creating these 'feature dimensions' is in the process of being rearchitected and while I can't make a hard promise as to when they will be replaced with something more usable and friendly, I can assure you that we know they need help and we are spending resources to accomplish this.

Well, that's twice in the recent history that have had issues with UG bugs at the root of the problem. However, I still believe that UG is the right tool for the job. Looking forward to the improvements.
