Greetings everyone.
I'm trying to design pile with concrete embankment in front.
I'm assuming there should be a limiting height till which the lateral pressure due to earth fill/surcharge on piles should act, because after that any pile displacement should be generating passive pressures. Lets say that limiting depth is Hmax
And how should the pressure intensities be considered as we go down the pile depth from the top?
Would appreciate if you can share links/literature for the same. Thank you
