surface data from mesh

Hi all,
I was just wandering if there is a way to create surface data from the FE mesh. I know hypermesh can create line data from the mesh but unfortunately it cannot create surface data.

It depends on the complexity. You can create surfaces in hypermesh.

Alternatively if you use the topology optimisation method there is a means of outputting suface data direct. It does tend to be a little messy but it works.
