It doesn't show 4.0 as released. 3.1 is the latest

Yes. But the download should be the full SP release. (There must have been a 4.0EV release as well, so there is an option for upgrading from that SP as well as the previous SPs.)

Not sure yet. Still working on a project, so I've neither installed it nor seen the release notes. For what it's worth, what's new isn't supposed to be disclosed publicly, so we'll need to wait for the relase notes to be published or to install to find out.

SP 4.0 is released as of yesterday. I wonder why I didn't see it when this thread was posted?

Anyone running it yet?

There are quite a few fixes in the latest SP. I have read through a few of them but don't really have time to read all of them. This is one of the bigger SP releases I have seen so far.

One noteable feature I found with this SP is that the measure tool now has a pink selection box, which enables you to see what items you have selected.

This has got to be one of the biggest SP's in some time, I counted over 300 fixes.

Macduff,
We are using SolidWorks 2005 SP4 with PDM Works 0.0
It has been stable for us, although I do crash every now and then.
