I’m running SW on Win 2k, P4 / D 850GB / RIMM 786MB / ATI Radeon 7200.
When open drawing it get into disorder. Trying to update - SW crash. Previous releases of SW were no problem.
Dos anyone has similar problem?
Is the problem video card - ATI Radeon 7200 64MB VIVA?

I would say yes your problem is the video card because it doesn't pass the SW requirements -

There is jus note: "Limited number of accelerated windows. Amount of video memory determines the number. If 16M - 32M of memory, 2-4 accelerated full screen windows."

There are other limitations of the video card that are not listed. You should always use a card in the green. Then the video card will not be an issue. I haven't had a single user get the Radeon to work yet. Get a card that's in the green then see if you have the same problem.

One thing you could try to rule out a video card is to turn your Software OpenGL on inseide of SW.

1) Open SW (Don't open a file)
2) Tools\Options\System Options\Performance
3) Check mark "Software OpenGL"
4) Then try out the process you were doing.

Results:
1) If it works without crashing it's your card.
2) If your option is greyed out make sure no files are open, if not then your card doesn't support OpenGL (in CAD) and the problem is your Card.
3) If it still crashes it might be a SW software issue - but it still doens't completely remove out a video card issue. Try the options below to make sure your install of SW is a clean and good install.

Those options are in the FAQ section. - See below.

I have a Radeon 9700 and running in OpenGL. And never had a problem. Often I have thought about replacing the video card with a low end Quadro FX 500 or a FireGL T2-128, but in the end this card works just fine.
