You can only see EV or RC service packs if you are in the early viability program. If you're in the EV program the website automatically shows (by Serial number) what is available to you vs people not in the EV program. If you really want to give SP 1.0 EV or RC a try then sign up for the Early Visability program at the SW website. It only takes a couple of minutes and then you can download and install the SP.

Right on rockguy. I wanted to say that.

Also: read the fine print. The key word is: "review and test".

The Early Visibility program provides you an opportunity to review and test a Service Pack before general release.

And to add to Bradley's last post. Prior to Windows installer you had to uninstall the SW and reisntall SW with the new SP if the SP was changed in any after Pre-release of a the SP.

Now with Windows installer you don't have that added burden. You can simply run a patch that SW provides to those users that tested the SP prior to final release. With that patch it fixes the old beta SP and your done and ready to go.

Pro to having WI.

New updates from Microsoft today, but appears to have nothing to do with WI. A patch from Microsoft is needed before SolidWorks will release SP 1 correct?
