SWEPT 'rotation'

How can I 'rotate' a swept during the operation ?
In attached picture I tried to explain what I would like to do/become.
I thought it should be possible to 'rotate' the swept over a certain angle ?

(The workaround is working with a law controlled helix or contructed spline)

I once saw a YOUTUBE movie on this topic, but can't find it back ...

The corporate firewall is blocking your picture for me, so I can't see your example. But, if you are using a single guide; you can use the "angular law" orientation option. This will twist the section along the guide.

Hi COWSKI, thx, but that's not what I haeve in mind.
The twist should be around the main-part axis, and not along the guide itself (Or did I do something wrong)

Works for me. Unfortunately, I don't know of any option within the swept command that will produce the 'expected result' given the section and guide shown.

I think your best bet would be to create the guide that gives you the result you want. Here are a few methods that I would try:
[ul]
[li]copy your existing guide over by 30°, use a bridge curve to get the 'S' shaped transition[/li]
[li]draw an 'S' shaped curve on the bottom plane and use "combined curve projection" to get the desired guide[/li]
[li]it appears that the guide is at a constant offset from the 'bell' surface. If so, create an offset surface at this distance then use the curve on surface command to create the desired guide.[/li]
[li]Perhaps it is possible to deform the swept after it is created by using X-form or global shaping. I'm not sure that either of these will work for you; I've only used X-form on sheet bodies and I have very little experience with global shaping.[/li]

Thanks, these are indeed workaround options, but I'm pretty sure there was an options to do so...
I'll spent some more time on youtube to find the video
