HELLO,
I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING SYMBOLS FOR OUR OFFICE TO USE ON A REGULAR BASIS. HOW DO I MAKE A SYMBOL FOR BASELINES, PROPERTYLINES, HEDGES, CUT AND FILL LIMITS AND HAVE THEM APPEAR ON A LINETYPE THAT IS CONTINUOUS? IS THERE A WEBSITE THAT WILL ENABLE ME TO COPY THESE INTO A FILE?

THANKS,
BRIAN

G'day Fryguy,

Let me get this straight are you wishing to creating your own linetypes which the symbols included in the linetype?

ie. ----g----g----g---- for example gas

Cheers
Mike

The linetypes I want to use are symbols such as cut and fill limits, property lines where the PL is in the center of the line itself, also guiderail (box beam where the small squares are incorporated in to the line. is this possible?

thanks

Brian,

Check out the express tools. There is a routine there that will let you make linetypes. Express->Tools->Make Linetype.

i do not have express tools in LDD software on my system. is there a special place to go for express tools?

Brian,

If you have an older version of LDD, you can migrate them into your current version. Check out for a migration tutorial. If you don't have them, you must purchase them seperately from AutoDesk.
