The first is a groove weld, all around, with a raised bead. It is to weld the nut to the stud using the chamfer on the stud as the groove.

The second is short for Obround, which is short for oblong-round and doesn't need to be on the drawing.

Nice catch!

OBR should not be on the drawing. The picture and size specification should do everything, unless it is obfuscated as they have done. When you go 1-1/8X2 as per ASME Y14.5, the total length of the slot is 2", and there is no diameter symbol. Is 2" the total length, or is it the distance between centres? I think the OP should call and ask whoever made that drawing.

Wil, the method of calling out a slot as pictured is also not per Y14.5. Go figure that "OBR" is also not an ANSI/ASME recognized item.
