Good morning everybody.
I am responsible for evaluating heat loads inside the nacelle of a small wind turbine (100kW).
That´s difficult to find catalogs which describe the mechanical efficiency for generators. These data are almostly available just for motors, either synchronous and asynchronous. And I know it is a wrong thing to use the same efficiency coefficients for motors.
I don´t need very refinated estimatives, rough ones are enoough for our conservative calculations.
Does somebody have information about mechanical-electrical conversion efficiency in this range?
Thanks for attention.
