Hi
Considering the table UW-16.1 General Note: "For fittings having a specified outside diameter not equal to the outside diameter of an equivalent standard NPS (DN) size, the NPS (DN) size chosen from the table shall be one having an equivalent outside diameter larger than the fitting’s outside diameter." and thicknesses of the table uw-16.1, can I use a thickness for a manufacture's fitting standard between B16.11-Class 3000 thickness (table UW-16.1 minimum thickness) and B16.11-Class 6000 thickness (outside diameter of an equivalent standard NPS (DN) size)?

Example: 1" cplg being used, you need to use 1.5" NPS in the Table as 1" cplg OD is 1.75". 1.5" NPS is 1.875" OD.

Note this Table is only applicable to fittings attached by fillet welds only on the outside.

Can you share a drawing or illustration of the fitting you want to use?
