Tables and parametric dimensions

I would like to use parametric dimensions (d1, d2....) in pattern tables. Instead of entering position data as an integer I want to enter (d1+0.250) for example. In this way all the holes in the table will move when d1 is changed. When I try to edit the table the (d1+0.250) has been replaced by an integer. How can get the table to retain these parametric dimensions?

I think that you need to create the relations outside of the table. In Menu Manager -> Relations click add relation. Then set d2=d1+0.25, etc. When d1 is updated all the other dims will update as well. Relations can also be accessed under Info -> Relations and parameters.

I understand and appreciate your response. I'll try it, but it seems like a lot of work. I'm surprised that the table won't retain the parameter. This also means that i have to establish several relationships for each hole in the table x,y and dia. This is a lot of work. I see no advantage in using tables if they do not update parametricly.
Thanks,
