Tabular Note field 1

Hello,

I am attempting to redesign the drafting templates we use. One area I was interested in updating was our change history area. Currently we use lines and floating Note boxes. However I started playing with the idea of a tabular note in it's place. The question is; Is there a way to have NX(8+) show the more advanced Note field(s) dialog (that includes symbols and GD&T) when editing a tabular note field? I know symbols can be typed by hand and work in the tabular note, but the dialog only shows a few characters, and it would be nice to have the symbol buttons available to the user. Can it be done?

We have our rev block as a table too,
Have you tried GD&T symbols and they didn't work? because it seems to me like they should.
You may need to create the statement in the annotation editor and cut & paste it into the table cell.

It works for me, at least in NX 8.5 it does.

In the table itself, right click on the individual cell and go to Edit Text (it is not the default option). This brings up the dialog box to put the symbols in easily.
