Hello everyone, Does anybody know if every tank must have dike? any standard talking about that? Regards

"Must" implies legislation which is variant by location.

I struggle to think of a good reason why not.

Catastrophic tank collapse is rare but consequences are very high.

Any tank that contains "oil" must have spill containment for the tank contents per the federal SPCC regulations.

Other tanks for example such as Sulfuric Acid or Caustic Soda will be installed in diked areas for owner's /insurer standards. Environmental health and safety standards also call for containment.
