Tank external floating roof dismantling

Is there any code for dismantling an EFR that is landed on legs and tank cleaned??

Or any experiences for such a job?

Other than safety issues and whatever jurisdiction (possibly confined space, too), I'm not aware of any API requirements... new work should conform to something.

It may be a matter of scaffolding around the tank and using a mobile crane to hold and lift the removed portions... Depending on the construction, you may be able to use a hydraulic shear attachment.
